BOOK OF REMEMBRANCE / GIFT OF LIFE BOOK
SCHOLARSHIP FUND – DONATION FORM

Scholarships are given annually to students in the Diocese of Virginia through your Contributions to the “Book of Remembrance” and “Gift of Life Book”. These books are historical documents where a person’s name is recorded in remembrance or thanksgiving. The books are displayed at our Open Board and Annual Meeting.

In 1930, the Book of Remembrance was begun as a memorial to those who had died. It is a wonderful way to remember those in your parishes that have died during the year and also individuals can give in memory of a special loved one.

The Gift of Life Book contains names for the birth of a child/grandchild. confirmation, graduation, marriage, anniversary, present/past officers of ECW, recovery from illness or any occasion of Thanksgiving. Some parishes make a special contribution for children who are baptized in their church during the year.
